This achievement underscores Arya Gostar Pasargad Khavaran’s commitment to innovation, with a key goal of competing on an international stage. The Shandiz suspended aerial restaurant, the first of its kind in the country, was officially opened on March 23, 2017. Celebrated as the tourism phenomenon of the year, the inauguration took place in Shandiz Village, Mashhad. The event was attended by the Deputy for Investment Development and Planning of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization, along with several officials from Khorasan Razavi province.
The Shandiz Suspended Restaurant, designed to accommodate 32 guests and 10 crew members, has a total weight of 9 tons and it ascends to a height of 40 meters. It moves solely in the vertical direction, with no lateral or rotational movement. Guests are seated and securely fastened, while the entire structure is supported by a robust truss system for a one-hour experience.
